Education: Research Director of the National Research Council - I.R.I.B. Since 2005 in charge of the Center for Research and Diagnosis of Lysosomal Storage Diseases (Fabry, Gaucher and Pompe) at the INSTITUTE FOR BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH AND INNOVATION (IRIB-CNR Palermo).

Degree in Biological Sciences, specialization in Molecular and Genetic Biology, obtained at the University of Palermo, with marks: 110/110 with honors.
