2008-2013: Postgraduate in Nephrology of the Chair of Nephrology of the University Federico II in Naples. 28/03/2013: Diploma of Specialist in Nephrology, with the highest evaluation, at the University Federico II of Naples (Italy).
2013-2015. Ph.D. course “Nephrologic Sciences” at Second University of Naples. 21/01/2016. 18/01/2017-31/01/2018: Study grant with the title “Studi della patogenesi della Malattia di Fabry” at the Department of Cardio-Thoracic Scinces of Second University of Naples.
30/07/2018 - 30/07/2019: Study grant with with the title “Studi sulla Malattia di Fabry” at the Department of Cardio-Thoracic Scinces of the University “L. Vanvitelli”.
From 25/02/2020: Ricercatore di III livello at the “Istituto per la Ricerca e L’Innovazione Biomedica” (IRIB), of CNR - Palermo.
Dr. Riccio is the Author or Co-author of about 100 papers published on some of the most important Nephrologic Journals, like Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation, American Journal of Physiology, American Journal of Kideny Disease. She has presented lectures, oral communications and posters in the most important Congresses all over the world (International Society of Nephrology, EDTA-European Renal Association, American Society of Nephology) and, as invited speaker or Chairman, in many national and international meetings.

Progjects

Dr. Riccio has participated in many Research Projects, all carried out in the Laboratory of Experimental Nephrology of University Federico II.
- Experimental and clinical fields of research are the pathogenesis of acute renal failure (ARF), the progression of chronic renal disease, the new experiences with enzyme replacement therapy in Fabry disease.
