Laboratory technician in the framework of the research projects "Study of enzymatic and genetic alterations in lysosomal storage diseases". Responsible Dr. Duro Giovanni.
Since 2009 he has been working in the research laboratory dedicated to the study of enzymatic and genetic alterations in Anderson-Fabry's disease.
He has taken part in several collateral research projects aimed at a better understanding of the disease, such as the study of mutations in non-coding regions of the gene involved, the search for new molecular markers in Fabry's disease: microRNA and the study of Misdiagnosis.
He has contributed to the drafting of scientific papers and the publication of technical reports; he has also actively participated in national conferences with the presentation of posters and abstracts.
From 2006 to 2009 he has carried out technical and management support activities of the laboratory of optical spectroscopy and IR, at the Institute of Biophysics of the CNR of Palermo, within the Project P.O.R. Sicily Measure 3.15 "Creation of a regional center for quality control of virgin olive oils".
