Dr Daniele Romancino

Researcher

Degree in Biological Science at the University of Palermo, in 1985. Since 1985 he conducted research on Physical Chemistry topics, studing the solution of alcohols in tensioactive micellar solution at the Physical Chemistry Istitute, University of Palermo.
In 1988 was Research Fellow at the Istituto di Biologia dello Sviluppo, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche(C.N.R.)of Palermo, where he studied Developmental Biology of cellular surface proteins and RNAs involved in sea urchin development.
In 1998 he was C.N.R. Researcher, and continued research on Developmental Biology at the Istituto di Biologia dello Sviluppo, C.N.R.
From 2005 to 2007, he conducted research on Microbiology of wine: isolation of non-saccharomyces yeast from must of wine using microbiological methods and biomolecular techniques at the Istituto di Biomedicina ed Immunologia Molecolare (IBIM) “A.Monroy” C.N.R. of Palermo.
Presently he is Senior C.N.R. Researcher at the IRIB C.N.R. of Palermo and he studies muscle differentiation, proteins involved in endocytic membrane trafficking and biogenesis and function of vesicles secretion.
